Here is the start of the Spiral. It was designed by Marc Ricketts, Wally (his cousin), and myself. It was to be instaled in Monona Terrace in Madison WI the next morning! No problem, it's only 40 feet long. Plus, it was the first one we made so there was little chance for oversight. Lucky Wally and I knew what we were doing. The middle shot shows two machines sewing on the piece at the same time.
