Here is one of the most fun projects I've worked on in a while. Anthony Castronovo asked me to consult on designs and materials of a balloon for making a human neutrally buoyant. Also I was to help with the actual construction. Naturally I couldn't resist. An interesting aside to this project was that Anthony was doing this as a graduation project. There was grant money available to students and he applied for it. They rejected his application because they said this project was too ambitious and would never work. Quite typical I thought. However, I guess they had to eat that assessment when we were done because they were in attendance when it went up.

Please visit these links for more info and video (the blog for the project) and to learn about Anthony Castronovo's amazing artorks in other mediums. And specifically this page on his site.
